  1. Commands are miniature utilities built into ART-CEE.
  2.   
  3. A  Set the number of assumptions that will be allowed in any single
  4.    chain in two-element queries.  The minimum is 0; maximum is 57.
  5.   
  6. B  Enter a file containing mutually-exclusive subjects, and mark all
  7.    occurrences of those subjects as mutually impossible.
  8.   
  9. C  Change a subject without changing any percentages associated with it
  10.   
  11. D  Drop a rule.  If the rule is the only one referencing a particular sub-
  12.    ject, whether used as subject or predicate in that rule, the subject is
  13.    dropped from ART-CEE's database.
  14.   
  15. F  Set default forward percentage of occurrence.  Valid values are not less
  16.    than zero and not greater than 100.
  17.   
  18. G  Enter a group of mutually-exclusive subjects from the keyboard.  Only 
  19.    subjects actually found in the database will be used or saved.

  21. H  You know about the help command, don't you?

  23. I  Initialize the database.  Erase all subjects in the database, and mark
  24.    all percentages as zero except for tautologies (IF A THEN A), which
  25.    are marked as impossible.
  26.   
  27. K  Set depth of thinking chaining.  The greater the depth the longer but
  28.    more thorough will the thinking be.  Optimal is under 5.
  29.   
  30. L  Load a disk data file created in a previous ART-CEE session.
  31.   
  32. M  Toggle the showing of the main menu.
  33.   
  34. O  Toggle overriding of default percentages.
  35.   
  36. P  Print the database.  All rules in the database will be copied to the 
  37.    system printer, together with their percentages.
  38.   
  39. R  Set default reverse percentage.  Valid values are not less than zero
  40.    and not greater than 100.
  41.   
  42. S  Save the database to disk, in whole or in part.
  43.   
  44. T  Think.  Automated database extension by inference.
  45.   
  46. V  View the database.  All subjects are listed in order of entry, followed
  47.    by their forward references, then their reverse references.
  48.   
  49. X  Exit the program.  You will be asked if you wish to save the database
  50.    before the exit occurs.  The default is not to save.
